Terms of Service

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of CrewCommerce and your use of this website (crewcommercepro.com) and related services including updates, documentation and support (together, the "Services"). They also cover the CrewCommerce WordPress/WooCommerce plugin (the "Software") as sold by us. CrewCommerce is owned and operated by Nabil Lemsieh AE (Tax N° 18795156), based in Morocco ("CrewCommerce", "we", "us" or "our").

By purchasing, installing or using the Software or the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't buy or use them.

1. What you're buying

CrewCommerce is a one-time-purchase, self-hosted plugin. Your payment buys the download, twelve months of updates, and support for one production site — it is not a subscription. The plugin's code is free software under the GNU General Public License (section 3); what you pay for is the download, our updates and support, and our continued work on it.

2. What your purchase includes

  • The download of the Software, plus every update released during your update period, for one (1) production website that you own or operate.
  • Everything in the plugin. Unlimited companies and team members on that site, and every feature described on the pricing page — nothing is held back for a more expensive tier.
  • Twelve (12) months of updates from your purchase date. After that, your copy keeps working indefinitely — there is no expiry date and no license check that phones home to disable it. You simply stop receiving new versions unless you renew.
  • Email support and documentation for that site (see section 5).
  • Renewing for another year of updates is optional, never automatic, and offered at a discount to early buyers.
  • Need it on more than one site? Updates and support cover one production site per purchase — email support@crewcommercepro.com for multi-site pricing.

Updates and support are for purchasers and aren't transferable. We may decline to provide them for a copy that wasn't obtained from us.

3. The software license

The Software is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, the same license as WordPress. The full text is at gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html, and every plugin file links to it. Under it you're free to use, study, modify and share the code on the terms of that license, and nothing in these Terms takes those rights away. The license covers the code; it does not cover our name, our logo, or our services (updates, support and documentation), which are covered by sections 2, 4 and 5.

4. Copyright and trademarks

Copyright in the Software remains with us. "CrewCommerce", "CrewCommerce Pro" and the CrewCommerce logo are our trademarks. You may not use them in a way that suggests a copy, a modified version, or a service is offered, supported or endorsed by us when it isn't, or sell copies under our name. A modified or redistributed version must be clearly described as unofficial and must not use our name or logo as its own.

5. Updates and support

  • Updates. During your update period you can download new versions of the Software. We work to keep it compatible with current WordPress and WooCommerce releases, but we can't guarantee the timing or availability of any particular update.
  • Support. We provide support by email at support@crewcommercepro.com and through the documentation. Support covers installing and using the Software as documented. It doesn't cover custom development, modified copies, or problems caused by other plugins, themes or hosting. We'll make reasonable efforts to reply promptly, but we don't guarantee response times or that every issue can be resolved.

6. Payment

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, our third-party payment processor. The price, currency and any taxes are shown at checkout. We never see or store your card details.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Your site and your data

CrewCommerce runs on your own server. We don't have access to your store, your customers, or your orders. That also means you're responsible for:

  • Backing up your site, and testing the Software on a staging copy before using it on a live store;
  • The data of your own customers and team members, and complying with the laws that apply to your store, including privacy law.

9. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as set out in the GNU General Public License. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet every requirement specific to your store.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost sales, or lost data — arising from your use of the Software or the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for your purchase.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, or from your use of the Software or our name in violation of applicable law.

12. Ending access

If you breach these Terms — for example, by misusing our trademarks, or by abusing support or payment — we may end your access to updates and support, and to any refund. If your purchase is refunded, your access to updates and support ends and we ask that you remove the Software from your site. Nothing here affects the rights under the GNU General Public License in copies of the Software you have already received; those can't be taken back.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date above. We won't change them in a way that takes away the updates, support or refund rights you have already paid for.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
