Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. We keep to a few simple principles:

  • We only ask for personal information when we truly need it.
  • We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it except to provide the Services, comply with the law, or protect our rights.
  • We don't keep personal information longer than we need it.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (crewcommercepro.com) and the checkout process for the CrewCommerce plugin, and how we use it. CrewCommerce is owned and operated by Nabil Lemsieh AE (Tax N° 18795156), based in Morocco ("CrewCommerce", "we" or "us"), and we are responsible for the personal data described here.

1. What this policy doesn't cover

CrewCommerce is a self-hosted plugin that runs entirely on your own WordPress/WooCommerce server. It doesn't send your store's order data, customer data, or company data to us or to anyone else, it makes no outside connections of its own, and it sets no cookies of its own. That information stays on your site, under your control — and so does your responsibility for it: if you use CrewCommerce to handle your own customers' data, your own privacy policy should cover that. This policy is only about the data this website and our purchase and support process collect from you.

2. Information we collect

  • Purchases. Checkout is handled entirely by Gumroad, our payment processor. Gumroad collects your payment details and receipt email directly — we never see or store your card information. We receive your name, email address and order confirmation from Gumroad so we can deliver your download and updates, provide support and process refunds. Gumroad's handling of your data is covered by Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe using a form on this site, including the one shown before you download the free plugin, your email address is sent to Kit, the email service we use to run the newsletter. We use it to send occasional emails about new features and tips for using CrewCommerce. You'll get a confirmation email first, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Kit's handling of your data is covered by Kit's Privacy Policy.
  • Support emails. If you email us for support, we keep that correspondence to help you and for our own records.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify you.

3. Cookies and third-party services

Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how this website is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay, what device and browser they use, and roughly where they are (based on a shortened IP address). Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_… in your browser, which last up to two years. We don't use Google's advertising features and don't share this data with anyone else. Google processes it on our behalf, including in the United States; see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time: use the button below (your choice is stored in this browser), or install Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Apart from that, this website does not set cookies of its own. It does load a few third-party resources, which may receive your IP address and technical details about your browser when they load:

  • Gumroad — its checkout script loads on our pages, and Gumroad may set cookies when it loads and when you check out. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts — our home page loads its typefaces from Google's servers.
  • Kit — receives your email address, and technical details such as your IP address, when you submit the newsletter or download form. See Kit's Privacy Policy.

4. How we use your information

We use the information above to fulfil your purchase, provide support, keep the records the law requires, protect our rights, understand how this website is used, and — only if you subscribed — send you the newsletter. We do not sell your information to third parties.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run the business — Gumroad for payments and delivering your download, Kit for the newsletter, Google for analytics, our email and hosting providers — and with authorities where the law requires it. These providers may process your data outside your own country, including in the United States.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep newsletter subscribers until they unsubscribe, and support correspondence for as long as it's reasonably useful to help you. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any newsletter email, or email support@crewcommercepro.com to have your email removed from the newsletter or from our support records.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@crewcommercepro.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Some records, such as purchase records we must keep by law, can't be deleted on request. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the rights described in your local data protection law, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date above.
